RMS - Rent Management System
Loko Abraham and David Murray are property managers based in the United States. They were handling multiple rental properties but were finding it hard to manage everything manually. They came to us at Design Vortax because they needed a system to make their job easier. They wanted to find a way to track tenant payments, manage maintenance requests, and improve communication without using papers and spreadsheets.
Challenges They Were Facing
Loko and David shared with us the problems they were facing. Here are the main challenges:
Manual Work
They were using paper files and spreadsheets to keep track of tenants and their payments, which took a lot of time and could lead to mistakes.
Reporting
They wanted an easy way to see how their properties were doing financially. They needed reports that could show how much money they were making, how much they were spending, and if all payments were received.

They needed the system to protect sensitive information, like tenant payment details and personal information, and make sure the system was following privacy laws.

To solve these problems, we created a system that focused on making things easy for both Loko and David as property managers, as well as their tenants.
User-Friendly Design
We worked closely with Loko and David to design the system in a way that it was simple to use. The system needed to be easy to understand and navigate, so both property managers and tenants could use it without trouble.
Payment System and Reminders
We added a payment gateway to the system that let tenants make payments online. Tenants would also get automatic reminders when their payment was due or if they were late. This made it easier for Loko and David to keep track of who had paid and who hadn’t.
Easy Reports
Loko and David needed reports to track their income, expenses, and occupancy. We added an automatic report feature that gave them a snapshot of their financials whenever they needed it.
Cloud-Based Solution
